It is in celebration and in preparation that Laundry Workers Center invites you to our Building Together: Community Gala on Friday, Dec 2, 2016. We have so much to celebrate this year. But we also have much to prepare for the years ahead.

Each of you has brought skills, ideas, and passion to LWC. You come from all walks of justice—labor, housing, health and safety, artists, undocu-warriors, students, queer communities, faith communities, Black Lives Matter, womyn’s rights, fighters for our Earth.

Each one of us has been vital to LWC’s work to develop leaders and empower workers for safe, equal workplaces and communities. Now, LWC needs all of our support to continue the fight. We are excited to announce our new LWC Sustainer Program, where you can give a small monthly amount of $10 or more to LWC. When you become a LWC Sustainer, you are doing exactly that: sustaining our work together. There is much uncertainty on the direction our world will turn. What iscertain is the power we can build together.

Join together with activists, members, organizers, and friends from across the movements to celebrate, scheme, and fundraise for LWC. And of course eat and dance!
