Walmart warehouse workers in Southern California and Illinois went on strike! First in SoCal on Sept. 12, and then in Elwood, IL (outside of Chicago) on Sept. 15.
Both groups of workers decided to go on strike to protest unfair and unsafe working conditions. On Sept. 28, the workers in Southern California went back to work, having forced Walmart to address serious health and safety concerns in its contracted warehouses.
