Our member-led board of directors, movement-building committee, and wider membership develop and guide FCWA’s overall strategic direction.
Internal movement building is also guided by sector-based committees, our supply chain mapping committee, and our annual Worker Leaders’ Retreat, where members convene in-person for three days of peer-learning, relationship-building, and planning for the year ahead.
Worker Leaders’ Retreats
Members also host one-off events like our farmworker committee’s People’s Tribunal on the Struggles of Farmworkers in North America, where dozens of farmworkers provided testimony both virtually and in-person at the NYC People’s Forum on March 30, 2024.
