The Wagner Food Policy Alliance (WFPA) and the Food Studies Graduate Society invite you to join them for a panel discussion, “Beyond Access: Confronting Inequality in New York’s Food System” on Monday, November 14, at 6:45pm in Room 1080 of the Education Building, 35 West 4th Street.  This discussion will explore the intersections between food, health, race, and class through the perspectives of Karen Washington, community activist, farmer, and winner of the James Beard Leadership Award, Diana Robinson, labor activist and recipient of the 40 under 40 Rising Stars in New York City Food Policy honor, Kristin Reynolds, professor and author of new book Beyond Kale: Urban Agriculture and Social Activism in New York City, and Brian Elbel, NYU Wagner faculty member and expert obesity policy researcher.

A wine and cheese reception will follow the event. This event is open to the public.
